It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maxime Dufour, a cherished son, devoted partner, and friend to many. Maxime left this world on July 17, 2025. Born on July 6, 1985, in Campbellton, New Brunswick, and raised in Matapedia, Quebec, he spent his years spreading joy and positivity, most recently calling Edmonton, Alberta, his home.
Maxime brought not only skill but also a warm smile and a calm presence to those around him. He had a unique ability to make friends wherever he went, and he treasured the time he spent with his loved ones.
Maxime found happiness in the rhythm of life, whether he was playing the drums, strumming a bass guitar, or belting out a tune. Music was more than just a passion for him; it was a way to connect with others and share in the moments that made life beautiful.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Lisa Wagner; his bonus children, Emma, Sara, and Parker; his granddaughter, Nova; his father, Pierre Dufour; and his mother, Pauline Beaupré; his godparents, Patsy Dufour and Yves Dufour; his mother-in-law, Natalie; many aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends. Maxime’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him.
Rest in peace, Maxime. Your music will forever play in our hearts.
