On Feb 1, 2021, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our husband and father, Leo Terrance Edwards, at the age of 91, due to a lengthy illness. Leo will be remembered for his love of family and his passion for sports and the outdoors. He enjoyed cheering from the stands as his grandsons played soccer. In later years he kept busy with bowling, gardening and watching his favourite sports teams. He will be incredibly missed by all who knew him. Garth leaves behind his Sons, Monty & Dallas; Brother, Rod; and Sister, Vicky, as well as numerous friends and extended family. A funeral service will not be held at this time and a small ceremony with family and close friends will be held at a later date. On December 21st, 2020, in the company of friends, Francisco Calsado Magnaye of Edmonton passed away at the age of 69 years. Frank loved to share his musical talents with everyone in his life and enjoyed teaching his friends how to play different instruments. Most people could never guess Frank’s age because he had such a young soul. His smile was contagious, creating a wonderful atmosphere anywhere he went. Father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Francis McNamara of Edmonton passed away on December 27 after 85 active years. “Frank” leaves behind three loving sons, Ross, Gerard, and Thomas and their spouses, Dianna, Jody and Katherine; as well as grandchildren Teague, Drew, Sienna, and Claire. On December 19th, 2020 Eugene Jolivette of Edmonton, AB passed away due to COVID 19 virus at the age of 75. He is survived by his loving spouse, Valerie; son, Joseph; his daughter, Brenda; sister, Marie; brothers, Louie and Albert; and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Irene and Theodore; and daughter Priscilla There will be no memorial service held at this time due to COVID restrictions. At a later date to be determined, we will be holding a celebration of life in Eugene’s honor. Cremation took place at Capital City Cremations in Edmonton, Alberta.
