Gone from our sight, never from our hearts

 

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Dustin Cody Kevend, who left us far too soon at the age of 41 in Edmonton.

Dustin was a son, a brother, a friend — but above all, he was a father. His greatest pride and joy was his son, Keegan, who was truly the center of his world. Their bond was unbreakable, and every moment Dustin spent with Keegan was filled with love, laughter, and a deep sense of purpose.

Born and raised in Edmonton, Dustin was known for his sharp wit, contagious laugh, and fiercely loyal heart. He had a way of making people feel seen, and he never hesitated to show up for those he cared about. He’ll be remembered for the way he could bring humour into any room, and for the deep love he carried for his family. Dustin is survived by his son Keegan, his brother Chason, and his sister Desi. He is also remembered by his former spouse, DiAnne, and her daughter, Brooklynn, along with many friends and extended family who will miss him dearly.

A private celebration of life will be held with close family and friends at a later date.

Dustin’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, especially in the life of his son, where his legacy of love, strength, and resilience continues.
