With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of John McKelvie, suddenly and quietly in his sleep.
John came to Canada from Scotland in 1963 with his family and built a life in Edmonton. He was an honest and compassionate man, who loved camping and the outdoors. His family and friends were the most important things in life to him, and spending time with them was his greatest pleasure. To know John is to remember him.
He will be dearly missed by his Wife, Cathy Macleod, his brother, George McKelvie, his stepchildren, Robert, Kenny, and Chris, and his grandchildren, Dominic, Travis, Lukas, Connor, and Ellie.
He is predeceased by his parents, Catherine and George, his brother, Dave, and his sister, Christine.
Forever in our Hearts
