November 1, 1948 - April 21, 2026

Marguerite Sharon Robbins-Crabtree, lovingly known as Marg, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026. She was born on November 1, 1948, in Sarnia, Ontario, to Ivan and Fae Robbins.

Marg was a loving and devoted mother to her daughter, Janet Elizabeth Lucas Giandomenico (Mike); and to her son, Steven Richard Lucas (Justyna). She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Alexander, Isabella, and Elizabeth Giandomenico, and Adrian and Natalia Lucas, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

She is survived by her sisters, June and Doreen; and her brother, Doug (Tammy). Marg was predeceased by her sisters, Joyce and Jeanette, whom she remembered with love throughout her life.

Marg will be fondly remembered by her many loving friends and extended family, all of whom were touched by her kindness, compassion, and steadfast support. A dedicated, loyal, and faithful person, Marg cared deeply for others. Guided by strong family first values, she was unwavering in her commitment to ensuring her family was always taken care of. Her quiet strength, generosity, and enduring love leave a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m on Saturday, May 16th, 2026, at Riverbend United Church, 14907 45th Avenue NW, Edmonton. A committal service will take place at Bear Creek Cemetery in Brigden, Ontario, in mid‑summer, where Marg will be laid to rest.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marg’s memory to Pilgrims Hospice in Edmonton, in gratitude for the compassionate care they provided.

Marg was a very special lifelong friend. Although we did not see each other as often in recent years, we shared a lifetime of memories that I will always cherish and never forget.
Loving thoughts are with Janet, Steve and their families, June, Doreen, and Doug during this difficult time.

Mothers never truly let us go, even when their grip has loosened. Every second of our lives is treasured by our moms, and later by our grandmas. Marg shared a genuine warmth and a grounded sense of realism that we were lucky to experience a few times while visiting Warman, SK. She is a treasure who led with love and will continue to guide, in even the smallest nuances, through cherished memories. Sending you our heartfelt condolences.

To Janet and Steve, I’m so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. Aunt Marguerite was a caring and thoughtful person and will be missed by all fortunate to have known her! Although I didn’t spend much time with her lately, my mother tells many stories of their lives growing up on the farm in Mooretown. Have comfort knowing that she is with her sisters, and Grandma and Grandpa Robbins. Thinking of you and your families in this difficult time. Kim Lumley and family.

My heart is broken having lost one of my best friends. We were in University together in Dental Hygiene and remained friends ever since. The four friends got together for trips and fun times each year. I will always hold here in my thoughts and know she will be in a better place.

Marg and I grew up together in Sunday school and lived at her aunt Helen’s in Toronto when we took dental hygiene. Four of us girls have had decades of fun getaways and made many unforgettable memories. She was such an amazing caring friend to so many and such a proud mother and grandma. I love and miss you my friend. “She Flies On. “
