On June 4, 2024, Denis Lirondelle passed away at the age of 84 years. He is survived by step-children, Steven (Elizabeth), Lindsay, and Greg (Larysa); and grandchildren, Matthew, Timothy, and Acia. Also grieving his loss are sister, Darlene; brother, Lawrence (Evelyn); and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Denis was predeceased by his wife, Grace; step-son, Don; parents, Mac and Denise; sister, Annette; and sister, Shirley and her husband, Bill.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Darryl Labuick for his excellent care over the years. We also thank Dr. Wynick and Dr. Zia, and the care team on Unit 44 at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, and the care team on Unit 41 at Capital Care Norwood.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at St. Charles Parish in Mearns, AB, followed by interment in the Mearns cemetery.
In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Edmonton Humane Society.
