It is with deep sorrow and profound sadness that we mourn the unexpected passing of Charity Marie Lehn on July 1, 2025, at the age of 29.
Charity will be lovingly remembered by her son, Atlas Lehn; her parents, Roberta Dimitriou, Shawn Dimitriou, Shane Griggs; her grandparents, Randy and Henny Fischer, Ralph and Donna Griggs; her siblings, Levi, Josh and Mya; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
Charity was predeceased by her grandparents, Miles and Christina Lehn.
Charity was born in Omak Washington on June 30, 1996.
Charity spent the first 13 years of her life in Vernon, BC, where she made many childhood lifelong friends. She then moved to Alberta with her parents. Charity graduated high school with remarkable grades. She always was dedicated to her studies and her efforts shone through. She attended Red Deer College immediately after high school studying psychology. Charity moved back to Calgary in the start of 2018, eventually becoming a manager at the Olive Garden. She excelled in this job and very much loved it. In 2023 Charity found out she was pregnant. She immediately decided that she would do whatever it took to make sure her son had a wonderful life. With that, she decided that moving home and being close to her parents would be beneficial for the both of them. Since February of 2024, Atlas and her enjoyed spending time with “Nana and Papa “, and every moment was cherished. When her maternity leave ended at the beginning of 2025 she found work at Kal Tire. This was a job that Charity seemed to be enjoying as she made quick friends with her coworkers.
Charity enjoyed spending time with family and friends. But, the most important thing to her was time with her son. The two of them enjoyed many mommy son dates, including swimming, science center, parks, walks and jumping in puddles when it was raining. Charity excelled at many things in life, however being a loving mother was by far the one that was above all else.
Charity will be deeply missed and always lovingly remembered by all that knew her. Her spirit left a mark on everyone and her smile was one that will never be forgotten.
The family wishes to thank everyone for the love, support, messages, phone calls and meals through this time of mourning.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the end of summer and dates will be announced when they are determined.
