On August 9, 2024, Mrs. Catherine Mary Bell, a loving wife and caring mother, passed away in Edmonton at the age of 61. Cathy is survived by her husband, David, with whom she cherished 40 years of marriage. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Carolyn (Ian MacDonald) and Eric (Simon Taylor); as well as her granddaughter, Kira MacDonald. She will forever remain in the hearts of her sisters, Patti and Joan; and her brothers, Bob and Larry. She is also forever loved by her mother, Agnes; and her aunts, Betty and Florence. Cathy will be missed by her many extended family members and friends. She is predeceased by her brother, Bernie; and her father, Otto.
A celebration of life will be held in September for family and close friends, with further details available by contacting Dave, Carolyn, or Eric.

My heartfelt condolences to the Bell family. Cathy was my cousin, and I have fond memories of staying at her house when we were young and going to the exhibition together. She was my closest cousin during those years, and those memories will always hold a special place in my heart. Although we didn’t see much of each other as we got older, I’ll always remember the bond we shared in our younger days.
