Hutton Obit Photo

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Alexander Hutton, on January 5, 2023 in St. Albert, Alberta, with his children and his wife at his bedside, at the age of 75. David will be forever missed by his loving wife, Gloria; and his children and step-children, Marlie, Trina (Richard), Chris, Kelly, and Jason. He loved and was proud of his beautiful grand-children, Matthew, Nathan, Aaron, Zoe, Logan, and Brianna. He will be missed by his siblings, Brenda, Coral (Remy), Don (Wendy), John (Carmen), Maureen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, dear friends, and extended family.

He was predeceased by his father, Don; mother, Irene; and nieces, Dawn-Marie and Kira.

He leaves us with many beautiful and joyful memories where so many of them included him playing his guitar and singing for us. He was a one-of-a-kind man who left an impression on everyone he ever interacted with. He will forever be in our hearts!

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bonnyville SPCA.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Summer 2023, date, time, and location to be determined. Family and friends will be notified.

Dave brought so much laughter to all of us. He could make us laugh at the silliest things for hours. He was an entertainer and no one told jokes better than Dave did. He loved singing and playing his guitar. He loved rodeos, auctions and board playing games. He was so proud of each annual yield from his beloved grapes that he tenderly nurtured. Dave was a simple man who loved life and his family more than anything. As Dave rides off into the sunset one last time, he is finally free of pain and suffering. We will miss you … thank you for so many wonderful memories that we can hold close to our hearts for the rest of our lives … RIP dear Dave xoxo

I had the pleasure of working with Dave a number of years ago and will never forget that sense of humour and that laugh. He was a wonderful colleague that put so much in to whatever he chose to do – and we did some wonderful events. My sympathies to Gloria and the family on the loss of such a good man

We will miss Dave’s wonderful sense of humour. We shared many laughs while camping at Moose Lake and numerous other functions. We enjoyed sampling his excellent homemade wine & listening to him play guitar along with taking his money while playing the horse race game. Our deepest condolences to Gloria and family.
