We are sad to announce the passing of Doreen Morgan after a hard battle with COPD, on November 18th, 2023 in her home with her Husband by her side. She was 63 years old.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Philip, of 44 years; as well as her daughter, Shauna (Cecil) Denty; her son, John (Diane) Morgan; grandchildren, Morgan, Mackenzie, Shelby and Ford; and her sister, Lynn (Tim) Mabley. Doreen was predeceased by her parents, Antoinette and Roger; as well as her siblings, Daniel, Diane, Denis and Linda.
Doreen was born in McLennan, Alberta, April 28th, 1960 where she lived on a Farm in Donnelly, Alberta for the first years of her life before moving to Edmonton, where she remained to raise her Family.
She also leaves many friends and extended family to remember her as a loyal friend and tireless volunteer at the Jasper Place Legion in Edmonton.
The Family asks in Lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to the Lung association in honour of Doreen.
In honouring Doreen’s wishes a Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be Held at the Jasper Place Legion #255 10427 174 street, Edmonton, Alberta on December 1st, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a light lunch and time to visit with friends and family.
