On January 2, 2023, Elizabeth (aka Betty or Libby) Keddy, of Alberta passed away and went to be with her Lord and husband Jim. Born in Nictaux, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of James C. Vidito and Corella D. Ernst Vidito. Betty was a loving wife to James, and mother to Kim Keddy, Pam (Don) Hill, Moosebrook and Robert (Betty) Keddy, and Coldbrook.
Betty loved any time spent with her husband Jim and they both enjoyed being and working together. Whether it was managing the Berwick Bruins hockey team or raising poultry in Weston, they did it together. Betty also was the first chairperson of the Berwick Gala Day Princesses, Girl Guide leader, Sunday School teacher and Hospital Auxiliary member.
Betty is predeceased by 8 brothers, 5 sisters and a grandson. Betty was the last surviving member of her family. Betty is survived by her 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Special thanks to my daughter Kim for her care and support. As per her wishes there will be no funeral service and there will be a private graveside service at a later date.
