It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Ellinor Whitehead, who passed away on July 31, 2024, at the University of Alberta Hospital.

Ellinor’s smile, kind heart, passion for animals, and her love for the game of baseball, especially the Toronto Blue Jays. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Ellinor is survived by her son, Clinton (Heidi); daughter, Ashley (Marc); granddaughters, Mackenzie, Kaleanna, and Rhylinn; grandson, Bronx; Great-grandson, Kai.

In her memory, a donation may be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada.

    This was my Grandma. I didn’t quite react how I thought I would to losing her and still haven’t processed the fact that she’s not going to be there to talk to at the end of the day. I didn’t get to see her during her last days due to chaos in my own life and really wish I would’ve. She was an amazing grandmother and I’m so grateful that she took me in for most of my childhood. She was an amazing person who did great things. I loved sitting with her and listening to her tell stories about her life. We used to watch WWE, Hudson and Rex, Curling and the Toronto Blue Jays games together whenever we had the opportunity. She’s with her late kitties and is probably very happy to be reunited with them. I can picture her laying on a couch with all of her kitties with a huge smile on her face. I will be attending her old church to offer my condolences to all of her friends there once given the opportunity. She was a very beautiful and amazing woman. Fly high grandma. We love you and miss you <3

    I’m saddened upon hearing of the passing of this extraordinary lady. She has left an imprint on so many lives. She will be remembered for having a big heart. My condolences to all of you.

    We are saddened to hear about Ellinor’s passing. Ellinor was our tenant for several years and occasionally we would stop by to see her after she moved. Ellinor always had a wonderful smile and greeted us lovingly. Rest in peace, dear Ellinor.
