Karen, a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister lost her short battle with cancer. She will be remembered as a caring person who put everyone’s needs ahead of her own. Her beautiful smile, sense of humor, appreciation of life and all that goes with it will truly be missed but never forgotten.
The staff at the Royal Alex, University, and Cross Cancer Institute treated Karen with wonderful care and compassion, making her stay dignified and personable.
As per her wish she spent her last days at home with family and passed peacefully.
