It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Margaret Rose Wright on Saturday June 12, 2021 at the University of Alberta Hospital. She was born in Northern Ireland on August 29, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Peggy McGuigan.
Margaret was a loving mother not just to her own children but also to the many who called her Mama Marg. She was one of a kind and loved her Tim Hortons coffee. She always helped anyone in need and had the biggest heart. She was the kind of women who would give her last and go without. Despite her size she would stand up to anyone that she felt was being treated unfair. She was full of life and loved to be with family, friends. She touched so many peoples lives in so many different ways and will be missed dearly.
She was survived by her loving husband, Mark Bullock; her children, Darren Kelly, Tracey Kelly (Jody), Kristy Kelly (Andy), Billy Kelly, Kim Kelly, Markie Bullock, Erica Wortman (Doug), and Keith Wright (Erin); her grandchildren, Tonya (Charles), Tyler (Kerri), Dylan, Tara (Cody), Raine (Kelsey), Chloe (Chance), Courtney (Kyle), Robert, Cierra, Mike, Jessica and Hunter (Austin), Kerry (Kate), Katherine (Pondora), Kenny, and Ireland; her great grandchildren, Brycen, Riley, Peyton, Dawson, Gage, Cohen, Owen, and Avery; her sisters, Martina (Paul), Bernie (Mervyn); her brothers, Francis, Seamus; and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents, Peggy and Thomas Mcguigan; and her daughter, Tanya Kelly.

My deep condolences to my cousins on the loss of their beloved mother. Aunt Margaret was a wonderful person, so kind and loving, and will be so sorely missed by all who knew her. When her and Uncle Robert & Darren came to Canada, they lived with us until they got sorted, and for many years they were the only family we had in Canada. I’m so thankful that Aunt Margaret came back to Northern Ireland in recent years and we had a chance to reconnect. I loved her, and mourn her passing.

Margaret will be truly missed every day of the rest of my life. I am blessed to have been able to spend some great times with her in the last few years when we were able to meet at long last, now she’s gone far too soon, but I know she’ll be the angel on my shoulder, guiding me onwards until we hug again.
