We’ll little brother you left us too soon! We both spoke of this day as we always wondered what would be next, I’m guessing you are ripping a sheet of melamine like only you could, leaving only sawdust! One of the most talented tradesman I’ve ever known!
Memories of the sandbox, to building cars, to working together on job sites, too many memories to mention, but very fond ones I’ll hold close to my heart!
Not just my little brother, but my best friend! You will not be replaced by anyone!
I’m going to have to find someone as skilled in memory of movies lines as we always played the game “ what’s that from “ I admit as good as I am you are a little bit better!
It will be hard to replace your advice on crappy situations, as I know we always shared an ease to tell each other anything
And to find a way out of it with a laugh or a good plan
I’ll share my favourite quote :
All a man needs is someone to love.
If he can’t have that, give him something to hope for.
    If you don’t have that?
Just give him something to do!

We’ll bro, you were loved, had hope, and we’re always busy!
I’ll see you in another shop soon, a good song, a cold beer, and yes the movie quote game.
    Always your bro!

    ‘D’

    Dear Ropcean families,
Words cannot Express how deeply sorry and heartbroken that we are losing Mark so soon.
Our shock and disbelief is a sad reality but we must carry on as he would want us to. Sweet memories, countless good times, Mark’s usual shenanigans, his expertise in cabinetry and how he could build anything so beautifully and proudly and our deep love will never die. We will remember him always and treasure the short time we had with him. Gods blessings to each of you as you grieve. Many grieve with you and know that you are all in our prayers.
Marky, aka Mack, buddy, Honey, RIP, until we meet again.

This last week has really had you on my mind, as we both shared a deep love of music
Both old drummers, and me trying to be a raunchy singer haha
I’ll always remember that Christmas when we lost Linda and you were drumming on the wi
    And me singing,
And how you said I nailed, Chris Cornel, Marilyn Manson, and ripping out the rooster lol saying I sounded better 🙄 then them! What a compliment as you were always proud of the little things, from our music days, or telling me how proud you were with my competing in bodybuilding, I’ve heard some amazing new music these past days that like always we would have messaged to see if one of us have heard them
We’ll there a few I know you would have loved
I’ll think of you when they play
    While at work,
I hope you are bothering those angels with your rusty drumming 🤟👊

    Peace brother 😎

I knew Mark as one of David’s happy friends. He was always kind to me and our girls and a good neighbor. I’m sorry David can’t be here to say goodbye. It is I who must do that for him now. But he was very proud of the work these brothers did. And spoke well of them always. I am sure he was amoung those who welcomed him to the other side. To those who are left behind the impression he left will be felt here by many, but always profoundly when so sudden.

Forgive me as I write this after work Unfortunately because of a last minute cause of work related incident I’m not going to pay tribute to his memorial Mark and I go back many years from playing road hockey to taking shoots at net. We had a lot of fun and some mischievous times together but we also had great times with music(people know me I’d had training in piano and tried to teach) but I’m telling you I’m coordinated but to play drums man did I look bad! From the time he was stripping down my R/T and hit bondo dust and made the call “whiskey time “ I’ll miss you my friend but more then anything was a about 3 years ago after many whiskeys later we laid out my speaker stands that he was going to build for me Thus the COVID hit and we lost touch this hurts To the Ropcean family this just hurts first you lost a husband and a farther then a sister now a brother I’ll have a couple of whiskeys to Mark’s name and to Darrell and Cheryl my condolences.
