It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of James Douglas Martinson of Edmonton, Alberta on February 13, 2021. Doug will be lovingly remembered by his Partner of 17 years, Faye Kozack; Daughter, Barbara Carr (Tony) (ENG); Grandsons, John and Luke Pattison (ENG); Nephew, Michael Crabtree (Moira) Sask.; Niece, Vicky (Brian) (ENG); Brother-in-law, Barry Crabtree, (ENG); and numerous grand nieces and nephews. It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Garth Nelson passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 3rd, 2021.  He is predeceased by his Father, Irvin; Mother, Elsie; Brother, Mark; and Sister, Linda. Garth leaves behind his Sons, Monty & Dallas; Brother, Rod; and Sister, Vicky, as well as numerous friends and extended family. A funeral service will not be held at this time and a small ceremony with family and close friends will be held at a later date. On December 21st, 2020, in the company of friends, Francisco Calsado Magnaye of Edmonton passed away at the age of 69 years. Frank loved to share his musical talents with everyone in his life and enjoyed teaching his friends how to play different instruments. Most people could never guess Frank’s age because he had such a young soul. His smile was contagious, creating a wonderful atmosphere anywhere he went. Frank will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Special thanks to the staff at the University of Alberta Hospital. Your caring and support for Frank will always be remembered.

Father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Francis McNamara of Edmonton passed away on December 27 after 85 active years. “Frank” leaves behind three loving sons, Ross, Gerard, and Thomas and their spouses, Dianna, Jody and Katherine; as well as grandchildren Teague, Drew, Sienna, and Claire. Predeceased by mother Jeanne and father Leo; he is survived by siblings Lorraine, Maurice, and Rose. Frank lived an event-filled life. “A Mother is a mother still, The holiest thing alive.” Samuel Taylor Coleridge Stella Gammie (nee Teshier) 1925-2021 On January 1, 2021, Stella Gammie just two weeks from her 95th birthday at Jubilee Nursing Home passed away at the Royal Alex Hospital. She will be missed deeply by her son, ex-husband, surrogated daughters, relatives, and friends. On December 20, 2020, Theresa Bellisle of Edmonton, Alberta passed away at the age of 69. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Emily Bucknell and Cecile Alberts; and her many loving nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by her loving husband, Dale Bellisle, Aug. 27, 2013; her parents, Paul-Emil and Ida Levesque; and her brother, Louis. A prayer service will be held at a later date.

On December 19th, 2020 Eugene Jolivette of Edmonton, AB passed away due to COVID 19 virus at the age of 75. He is survived by his loving spouse, Valerie; son, Joseph; his daughter, Brenda; sister, Marie; brothers, Louie and Albert; and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Irene and Theodore; and daughter Priscilla There will be no memorial service held at this time due to COVID restrictions. At a later date to be determined, we will be holding a celebration of life in Eugene’s honor. Cremation took place at Capital City Cremations in Edmonton, Alberta.    

It is with profound sadness that the family of Werner Leybold announce his passing peacefully in his home, on December 15, 2020 at the age of 80.
