It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, mother-in-law and grandmother on February 10, 2023 at the age of 95. She was our mentor, our inspiration and the heart of our family. Olga was born in Foothills, Alberta and, as a teenager, moved to Hylo, Alberta with her family. She later met and married George in 1948. They settled on the family farm in Hylo, where they raised eight children. She humbly lived a life of service to her family, church and community. On February 7 2023, Malcolm Trowbridge of Edmonton AB, passed away of the age of 89.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Cecile; brother, Ronald; sister, Rhoda; his daughter, Linda (Bill); two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Malcolm was born in Edmonton, Alberta. He lived with his grandparents in Wildwood, AB from the age of 5 to 11. He then moved to Edmonton and lived with his father and brother in Rossdale. Don lived a healthy, helpful, and happy life until the morning of Thursday, January 12th when he suffered a severe stroke. He passed away in his sleep on Monday, January 23rd. Don was born in Macklin, Saskatchewan, the oldest of seven children. He worked mainly in Lloydminster before retiring from TELUS Corporation in 1991. Soon after retiring, Don moved to Edmonton. He was in his early fifties then, and he remained very active by volunteering extensively, always seeking ways to be helpful to others.
