It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Rhett Wayne Smith on Sunday, December 10, 2023.

Rhett is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Ron and Thelma Smith; his maternal grandparents,
Marcel and Marie De Lichte; and his aunt, Grace and uncle, John Sicotte.

Rhett is survived by his beloved daughter, Nola Marie Smith. She was his pride and joy. Rhett is also
survived by his parents, William (Bill) and Gloria Smith; brother, Burke (Liz) Smith; sister, Brandi Smith
(Dan) Janhsen; nephews, Ian and Bennett; and niece, Anastasia. Rhett is also survived by his uncle Ron (Linda), uncle Gerry (Scarlett), un
cle Stan (Robyn), uncle Jim Smith (Leslie), aunt Rose (Rudy) Bidinosti, uncle Albert (Terry) De Lichte, and many cousins.

Rhett is remembered by special and dear friends, Garrett Cameron of Edmonton, Nola and Sheldon
Schultz of Camrose, and John Francis of Wetaskiwin.

Rhett has always loved animals and there would forever be a pet or two in his life. Rhett was a trusting
and giving soul and tried to help many in need. He will be forever loved and missed.

Cremation has taken place. A private gathering for immediate family is planned for a later date.

    We are very Sorry to hear of Rhett’s Passing He was a good Person Who tried helping others. He dearly Loved and was very Proud of Little Nola. He loved his fur babies too. We dearly Loved Rhett & He will Greatly Be Missed.
