Velvet Evelyn Gales, 77, passed away on February 8, 2025, in Edmonton, Alberta.
Born in Strathclair, Manitoba, she was a loving and loyal mother. She found great joy in knitting, creating scarves, hats, and blankets that she often donated to those in need. Her kindness and creativity were evident in every stitch she made.
Velvet is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Jacy (Pete) and Trisha; her cherished grandsons, Thomas, Noah, and Joshua; and her beloved grand-kitties, Mattia and Oliver. She also leaves behind her sister Shelley (Brit), nephews and a niece. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis; her parents, Jack and Betty; and her brothers, Kerry and Kim.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
