With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Laurene at 57 years of age.  Predeceased by parents Laura and Telesphore Marchand; sisters Carol Marchand, Kathy Lauzon, and Joanne Shinnie; and brothers Timmothy Marchand, Allan Marchand, and Donald Marchand. Laurene is survived by Darlene Rojek, Tel Marchand, Carolyn Dumais, Lynda Neveu, Rosemay Pratt, Beatrice Crow, Bill Marchand, Bob Renaud, Bill Renaud, Stanly Renaud. Laurene was an independent free-spirited woman who loved cooking. She will also be missed by the extended family and her friends from Zellers.

Dietrich (Dick) Thiessen died peacefully on June 26, 2020, in Edmonton, Alberta, at the age of 91. Dick was born on February 9, 1929 in Coaldale, Alberta to Jacob and Maria Thiessen. He married Nettie Dueck in 1952 and moved to Lindbrook, Alberta with his sweetheart to begin farming. Ten years later, he studied to become a teacher. He taught for seven years in Tofield, after which he became a realtor. He was an active member of the Tofield Gospel Church and extended his love for people through his ministry at the Fort Saskatchewan Correctional Centre. Patricia (Pat) Hicks, 78, passed peacefully on June 21, 2020 after a battle with lung cancer. It is with great sadness that the family of Jean Landry announce her passing on June 16, 2020, at the age of 81 after a brief battle with cancer. She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Trent (Shirley) and Wendi (Andre), grandchildren; Cari, Tyler, Connor and Jaret, her sister; Connie and brother; Steve, as well as numerous relatives and friends. The Family of Paul Frederick Mireault is saddened by his passing on June 13, 2020 at the age of 59 years. Paul is survived by his son Daniel Mireault and his siblings Mark (Gloria), Joseph (Nirosha), Peter (Joan), Timothy (Loretta), John (Teresa), Adam (Shauna) and Monica (Gary Kieftenbeld).
