Surrounded by family, Wayne passed away peacefully on Monday, May 25, 2020, in St. Albert, Alberta. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; daughters Kristine and Jennifer (Chris); and his precious grand daughters, Janelle and Madison. He also leaves behind brothers Blair (Carol) and Dale (Darla); sisters-in-law, Linda (Dale), Maureen (Brian) and Sandra; brothers-in-law Doug (Judy) and Jim (Cindy), as well as numerous nephews and nieces. With heavy hearts, the family of Ross McKenzie Pierce announces his passing away on May 25, 2020, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Ross is survived by his loving wife, Wilma of 51 years. Children Darrin (Twyla), Karen (Randy), Robert, and Sean (Kim). Grandchildren Dreytan (Joanna), Kiershyn (Tyler), Braunt (Breanna), Ryan (Jasmine), Madison, Kaden, Matthew, Mikayla, Jessica (Nolan), Cody, and McKenzie. On the twenty-second day of May in 2020, Michael John Matiowsky of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away at the age of 82 years. Michael was born in Olha, Manitoba, to Mike and Rose (nee Boychuk) Matiowsky on April 3, 1938. He grew up on the family farm near Menzie, Manitoba with his two older sisters. Michael had an opportunity to farm but “wanted to see the world” and left home in 1955. He will be missed and lovingly remembered by his sisters Martha Filipchuk and Marie (Frank) Jirik, and his sisters’ children and their spouses and children.
