On Thursday, October 24, 2024, Withold ‘Bill’ Radtke of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 92 years. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Felicita (Phylis), four children; Ron (Maria) of Edmonton, Judy Steer (Carl) of Edmonton, Gordon (Leslie) of Sherwood Park, and Sindy Weber (Paul) of Edmonton, along with 6 grandchildren; Susan Barsness, Ryan Radtke, Julie-Marie Radtke (Tom), Elyse Ho (Allen), Evan Hildebrandt (Alisha), and Carlee Weber, as well as two great-grandchildren; Kohl and Tristen Barsness, and is predeceased by one great-grandchild, Carter Radtke. Florence Ferron passed away on October 23, 2024, in Edmonton, Alberta with family by her side after a long illness. Florence is survived by her two sons, Eric (Risa) and Justin; her grandsons, Fenix and Levi; her mother, Cecilia; and her siblings: Leon, Lucille (Kelly), Marc (Andrea), Edward (Cathy), Paul (Leora), Andrea, Maurice, Howard (JoAnn), and Loretta (Sebastien); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Marie (Rene) passed away unexpectedly in her sleep at the age of 76. She was a dedicated grandmother to Dominic whom she cared for as his official guardian for most of his life. She is also survived by her children, Corey (Dominic’s father), and Christy (Ryan); her mother, Doris (Harry); sisters Lorrie (Kevin), and Cec (Doug). Marie loved her family dearly including the many pets she had over the years. She loved plants and gardening, cooking, quilting and scrapbooking. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Bob passed away peacefully in his sleep in his daughter’s home in Stony Plain, Alberta, shortly after a terminal diagnosis. In his words, he had a good life and was ready to see his wife and friends again. Born and raised mostly in the Tofield area, he travelled a bit before settling there and then moving to Edmonton with his family in 1967, where he remained until shortly before his death.
