Solvei ‘Chris’ Speelman of Touchmark at Wedgewood in Edmonton, has passed away peacefully at the age of 95. Born in Olds, Alberta, Chris grew up on the farm northeast of town, attending school at Betchton and Olds. Her first occupation was a Switchboard operator in Olds. In 1950, she and a friend worked in Vancouver for awhile, then returned to Olds. In 1951 she went to work in Yellowknife, where she met Ric, who was coaching her ball team. Born on November 20, 1941, Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who touched the lives of many with his kindness and easy ways.
