With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Inger Johnsen at the age of 92, under the wonderful care of the staff at Extendicare Eaux Claires. Inger was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Richard, in June 2010, her oldest son, Stephan, in July 2022, daughter in-law, Roxanne, in March 2020, as well as all her siblings. Inger will be lovingly remembered by her children, Shirley (John) and Susan (Ken), and Frank (Ann); 14 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nephews, Dennis (Pam) and Eric (Carol); as well as many nieces and nephews in Denmark. It is with profound sadness that the family of Barbara Maga announce her passing on October 7, 2023 at the age of 65. She will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Annie; Brothers, John and Ted; sister, Nancy; uncle, John; Aunts, Mary and Natalie; nieces, Christina (Michael)and Jackelyn; nephews, Teddy and Jeffery; great-nephews, Michael and Tristan; great-nieces, Nora and Bailey. David grew up on the farm where he spent many hours helping his dad and many adventures with his brothers and sisters. David graduated from high school and left Peace River to seek his fortune. It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of Hans De Jager on Oct 4th, 2023 after a very long battle with cancer. Hans was born on Jan 28th 1950 in Nederland and Immigrated to Canada with his family in April of 1952 aboard the S.S Waterman. The family eventually settled in the Lethbridge area where Hans could be found either helping him mom in the kitchen or playing in the fields with his brothers and sister on the family farm.
