Peacefully and surrounded by his family, Len passed away on September 8, 2023 at the age of 84 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Doreen; children: Lucian (Eileen) and Mequel (Aimee); grandchildren: Troy (Kerys) and Ben; brother, Norman; as well as numerous relatives and friends. With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Dad, Poppa and Great-Poppa, John Joseph Hickey on August 31, 2023. Complications from a stroke in 2020 finally overcame his fierce battle for recovery. He was born in Peterborough, Ontario on October 19, 1935, moved West as a young man and met and married Marilynn in Hinton, Alberta and raised a family there.
