Nettie Lee Selby was born on May 15, 1938 to Alfred and Nettie Moore, in Rimbey, Alberta. Nettie is survived by her husband of 65 years, Donald Selby; five children, Cynthia (Ron Klimach), Donna, Marcia (Terry Woytovich), Byron (Brenda), and Marian (Dean Salyniuk); and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Alice Werstuik, Etta Heisler, and Beatrice Kingston. Nettie was the third youngest of 15 children. Nettie lost her mother to cancer when she was in her mid teens. We are saddened to share that Doug Huff passed away on July 27, 2023 in Edmonton, Alberta, at the age of 82 years. Doug was born in Vulcan, Alberta on August 28, 1940, the second son of Leonard and Violet Huff. He grew up on the farm where he learned the value of hard work, as well as the joy of being outdoors, and playing sports. He joined the Canadian Navy in 1962 and served 20 years with Suprad Communications 291, a specialist unit that was very important during the Cold War. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shanti Handa at the age of 90 years old. She passed away peacefully at the Leduc Hospital after her battle with back pain and kidney problems. Shanti is survived by her children, Anil, Pinky, and Sanjay; as well as her four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Shanti was the best mother anyone could have. She was a very kind hearted and loving person who will be greatly missed.

Cherrill Dawn Jamieson passed away in Edmonton on July 15th, 2023, after a 21 month battle with lung cancer. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, John (Jack) Jamieson, and is survived by her daughter, Kelly. Cherrill was born in MooseJaw Saskatchewan to William and Doris Porter, and grew up in Edmonton, Completing her High School education at Ross Sheppard Composite High School.
