It is with great sadness that the family announces Margaret’s death in her 87th year. She passed peacefully at home, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her parents, George Abram and Isabella Mary Reekie; and two brothers, Gordon Wright (Elsie), and George Melvin (Marion/Heather). Left to mourn are her husband of 58 years, John Gordon; son, Scott Gordon (Jody); daughter, Susan Margaret (James) Jackson; grandchildren, Bradley, Jayden, Katherine (Larissa), Sara (Chris), and Steven; great-grandchildren, Anders and Claire; and several nieces and nephews. On January 2, 2023, Elizabeth (aka Betty or Libby) Keddy, of Alberta passed away and went to be with her Lord and husband Jim. Born in Nictaux, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of James C. Vidito and Corella D. Ernst Vidito. Betty was a loving wife to James, and mother to Kim Keddy, Pam (Don) Hill, Moosebrook and Robert (Betty) Keddy, and Coldbrook. Mitchell Grotkowski-McGill passed away peacefully at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton on December 16th, 2022. Mitchell Brent McGill was born in Kingston, Ontario on January 15, 1959.
