Jacqueline “Jackie” Margaret Hallett passed away peacefully in her home on June 3, 2024, in Edmonton, Alberta, at the age of 79. Jackie was born in England to Jack & Winifred Blake, and immigrated to Canada settling with her parents in the Hamlet of Pine Grove (Vaughan), Ontario. She attended Pine Grove Public School from 1956 – 1960, and then attended Woodbridge High School. In 1964, Jackie married Michael Ryde. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ray Lang of St. Albert, Alberta, on April 27, 2022, at the age of 77. He passed peacefully surrounded by his family after a fierce battle with brain cancer. Ray will be deeply missed by his daughter, Kristen Noonan (Steven); his grandsons, Brett and Cade Noonan; his sisters, Muriel McKinstry (Lorne) and Diane Hawkins; life partner, Hazel Gould; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.

On June 4, 2024, Denis Lirondelle passed away at the age of 84 years. Rosilynn Mary Falk (Walsh), was born February 3, 1943, to Ross and Mildred (McKamey) Walsh in Comox, British Columbia. Rosilynn, known as Lynn, is survived by her 3 daughters, Karey (Tom) Hooker, Donna (Ed) Gerbracht, and Tanya (Christopher) Helekahi; grandchildren, Dean Hooker, Kendra Jenner, and Brett Hooker; and partner, Les Cookman. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darrell Collier, born February 12, 1981, in Port Aux Basque, Newfoundland. Darrell departed this world on May 31, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, friendship, and cherished memories. Bill Estabrooks lived boldly and fiercely, and inspired others to do the same. A fighter to the end, he died on June 4th, 2024, in Edmonton, Alberta surrounded by love. He was 76 years old. John Jordaan, aged 75, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2024. John was born on December 13, 1948, in Cape Town, South Africa, John is survived by his loving son, Ryan; his daughter-in-law, Sheena; grandchildren, Kane and Lexi; and his daughter, Kimberly. John is the youngest son of John and Mae Jordaan (maiden name De Villiers), and also the youngest of his siblings: sisters, Audrey, and Rhona; predeceased by his older brother, Bernard. Jeremy was born on August 6, 1976. A bicentennial baby in the USA. As a child, Jeremy was always smiling. His favorite animals were dogs, except for the few years he raised ducks. He was always looking out for his younger brother and sister. That is, until he bravely coerced his brother into sliding down a tremendously high hill on a piece of tin!
