It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother, Alvina, in Edmonton, Alberta. Ave was born in 1936 near Fort St. John, B.C., in a horse-drawn sleigh on the way to the hospital. She is sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Alvina is predeceased by her loving husband, Victor L. Cook (RCMP), in 1989, her parents, Dick and Elsie, her sisters, Marianne and Anita, and her brothers-in-law, Jim B, Jim H, Peter, Rod, and Doug. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nancy Maga on December 5, 2025. Nancy was a vibrant spirit who will be deeply missed by her friends and family. She is predeceased by her parents, Ann and Mike, and her sister, Barbara. She is survived by her siblings, John and Ted; her nieces and nephews, Christina, Jackelyn, Teddy, and Jeffrey; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Michael, Tristan, Bailey, and Nora; her aunts, Mary and Natalie; and her uncle, John. She will be dearly missed.

After a long struggle, Katie is resting in the peaceful hands of the Father. Katie was so much more than her struggles. She was a creative writer & artist. She was an amazing cook. She loved camping, hiking & the mountains. She had a compassion for people that glowed in her. Her love for her family & friends was unbreakable. Her brother Josh & I will miss her forever. The family of Tracy Hughson is saddened to announce her passing on October 23, 2025, at the age of 56 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Maxine (Richard), Debbie (Dale), and Vi (Herb).
