Karen, a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister lost her short battle with cancer. She will be remembered as a caring person who put everyone’s needs ahead of her own. Her beautiful smile, sense of humor, appreciation of life and all that goes with it will truly be missed but never forgotten. The staff at the Royal Alex, University, and Cross Cancer Institute treated Karen with wonderful care and compassion, making her stay dignified and personable. As per her wish she spent her last days at home with family and passed peacefully.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Victor Ball of Edmonton. Gary passed peacefully in his sleep on Monday, May 12, 2025, at the age of 80 years. Darryl passed peacefully on Friday April 18th, 2025. He is survived by his wife Judie, his children Kyle, Kristina, Ryan and Sara, his grandchildren Maia, Austin, Shaun, Tristan, Taylor, Kalie, Chase and Tyson, his dog Coco, his mother and his siblings. Thomas Jean-Rock Lebel, lovingly known as Rocky, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on March 26, 2025, at the age of 40. Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Rocky was known for his big heart, vibrant spirit, and the deep love he had for those closest to him. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Ron Chacun on February 18, 2025 in Edmonton, AB. Those who knew Ron, knew he lived life on his own terms. He wasn’t perfect, and he never pretended to be! He had a lot of trauma to deal with in his life, yet he still had a big heart, and when he loved you, it was with every inch of it! It is with great sadness that the family of Ken Bryant announce his recent passing at the age of 70 years of age. He grew up in the Queen Mary Park neighbourhood attending the elementary school, then McDougall Junior High, and Victoria Composite High School.
